BenQ, a global provider of digital lifestyle devices, has announced the launch of its new GW91 Series monitors in India. The range includes two models—the 23.8-inch GW2491 and the 27-inch GW2791—designed to offer smooth performance, essential eye-care features, and modern aesthetics at competitive prices.
The GW91 Series is equipped with Full HD IPS panels, delivering a resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, a 100Hz refresh rate, and 99% sRGB color accuracy. These specifications aim to provide users with fluid visuals and accurate color reproduction, making the monitors suitable for general computing, online learning, and multimedia consumption.
In a statement accompanying the launch, Rajeev Singh, Managing Director of BenQ India, emphasized the company’s focus on delivering accessible and reliable display solutions. “Our GW91 Series is more than a product launch—it’s a promise to bring reliable, premium-quality monitors within the reach of those who value quality,” Singh said. “We aim to offer users in developing markets the same standards of visual comfort and performance that BenQ is known for globally.”
Both models incorporate BenQ’s Eye-Care technologies, including Low Blue Light Plus and Flicker-Free technology, which are designed to reduce eye strain during prolonged use. The monitors are TÜV Rheinland-certified under the EyeSafe 2.0 standard, ensuring they meet international safety benchmarks for blue light emissions and screen flicker.
The design includes a near-borderless frame on all four sides, an anti-glare screen for improved readability under varied lighting conditions, and ergonomic tilt functionality ranging from -5° to 20°. Connectivity options include HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, a headphone jack, and VESA mount compatibility (100x100mm). A five-way navigation key enables quick access to the on-screen display settings.
The 27-inch GW2791 is now available on Amazon India at a launch price of ₹9,898. The GW2491 and GW2791 models will soon be rolled out to offline retail stores across the country.
BenQ is positioning the GW91 Series as a practical, value-focused choice for students, professionals, and everyday users. With this launch, the company aims to strengthen its presence in the budget monitor segment.
